🌀 Game Overview

Time Guardians™ is a first-person, sci-fi action adventure where players travel across centuries to stop reality-warping anomalies caused by rogue Time Cells. Recruited by none other than Stephen Hawking himself, you step into the boots of a Time Guardian—armed with cutting-edge weapons, time-bending abilities, and the weight of history on your shoulders.

Explore ancient ruins, modern battlefields, and future dystopias in an immersive open-world experience built for players who crave action, choice, and narrative depth.

🛠️ Development Highlights

  • Built core level prototypes in Unreal Engine 5 using modular design, Lumen lighting, and UE navigation tools

  • Designed Time Guardians HQ, including conference rooms, the Timeline Core, and detention sectors using assets from Unreal Sensei’s tutorials

  • Implemented early door animations, custom hallways, and scene-based event triggers using Blueprint scripting

  • Planned gameplay systems, including:

    • Real-time time travel mechanics

    • Combat system with temporal abilities like time-slow, rewind, and chrono-shield

    • Mission structure combining main objectives and side quests with historical NPCs
